Our Facilities

The fresh and modern design of this near new beach house is very innovative with the use of a large living area flowing onto the sun filled deck. This quality built home has hardwood floors throughout with 3 good sized bedrooms with built in robes, separate bathroom and separate toilet. The split system warms or cools the light filled open plan living area making it very inviting and user friendly. This is the perfect getaway, low maintenance holiday home leaving you free to enjoy the serenity and beaches of Venus Bay. This property is very, very realistically priced.

Our Property

Three-day Itinerary for STA house Venus Bay

  • 8:30am Support worker pick up you at your home
  • 9am Arrive at Caldermeade farm caldermeadefarm.com.au Café for morning tea/Animal nursery
  • 10am Bassine Specialty Cheeses, see our preserves, taste cheese, see calves bassinespecialtycheeses.com.au
  • 10:30am Drive to Wonthaggi, visit the Wonthaggi Coal mine & take an underground mine tour at 11.30am https://www.parks.vic.gov.au/places-to-see/parks/state-coal-mine-heritage-area/things-to-do/state-coal-mine
  • 2pm Drive to Wonthaggi Woolworths & pick up a few groceries to take to the house at Venus Bay, maybe ingredients to make dumplings, breakfast ingredients & picnic ingredients for the following day
  • 2:30pm Drive to Venus Bay
  • 3pm Arrive at Venus Bay, unpack the car, settle in, make a cup of tea & enjoy the peace & quiet
  • 4pm Drive to Beach 1, park the car & go for a long invigorating beach walk
  • 5pm Leave beach & drive back to house to start preparing dinner
  • 5:05pm Arrive at house, prepare dinner, eat dinner & clean-up
  • 6pm Play UNO or one of the many other games, listen to some music, watch a movie, make some popcorn, hot chocolate
  • 8.30-9pm Time for bed
  • 8:30am Up out of bed, make breakfast, eat breakfast, shower, clean-up, make bed, brush teeth, get dressed ready for the day
  • 9:30am Make a picnic lunch of salad rolls, fruit, thermos of hot chocolate and drive to Wilson’s Prom
  • 10am Leave to drive to Wilson’s prom the journey will take 45mins-1 hour
  • 11am Arrive at Wilson’s prom, park the car at Darby River carpark, first take a walk to Squeaky Beach https://www.parks.vic.gov.au/places-to-see/parks/wilsons-promontory-national-park/things-to-do/squeaky-beach
  • 12pm Enjoy the Tidal river area, great place to have your picnic lunch https://www.visitgippsland.com.au/destinations/south-gippsland/tidal-river
  • 1pm Head to Whisky Bay https://www.parks.vic.gov.au/places-to-see/sites/whisky-bay-
  • 2pm After enjoying Wilson’s prom it’s time to head back to Venus Bay via some lovely towns which you might want to stop at & have a walk around, Fish Creek https://visitsouthgippsland.com.au/place/fish-creek/
  • 2:30pm Leave Fish Creek & head to Venus Bay
  • 3pm Arrive at Venus Bay back to the house for a restful afternoon before a walk on the beach
  • 4pm Drive to Beach 3, on the way look in the paddocks on the right for kangaroos, lots of them. Take the sandy trail down to the beach & enjoy a nice fresh walk along the beach
  • 5pm Time to leave the beach & head back to the house to make dinner, eat dinner & clean-up
  • 6pm Play UNO or one of the many other games, listen to some music, watch a movie, make some popcorn, hot chocolate
  • 8:30-9pm Time for bed
  • 7:30am Up, shower, get dressed & pack up ready to go, ready to go out for breakfast at Mahob at Moos in Meeniyan https://www.mahob.com.au/ this a lovely Cambodian café/restaurant that a friend of mine works at, use to own I think you will love it

  • 10am Enjoy a walk down the main street of Meeniyan & when finished jump in the car and drive back to your home
  • 10:45am Drive back to home
  • 12pm Arrive at Home
