Reinventing Sunday lunch: My exciting new Seasonal series to kick-off in March

Sunday lunch has always been one of my favourite meals. It’s the perfect time to reconnect with friends and family and share my passion for Mornington Peninsula produce.

I’m always looking for ways to spread the word about the benefits of sustainable eating and what better way to do that than over a relaxed lunch?

This year I’ll be hosting a series of exclusive Seasonal Sunday Lunches on the first weekend of each month with the first to be held on March 3.

Just 10 seats will be available at each event.

I like to interact with my guests and a smaller group means I can spend time with everyone; listening to their stories and sharing my own.

It also means I can offer dishes using the very best Mornington Peninsula produce, including ingredients that aren’t always available in large quantities.

The 100 Mile Foodie Seasonal Sunday Lunches will be held at my Somerville cooking school and kitchen garden.

The experience will begin with guests enjoying a glass of sparkling wine on the deck in the sunshine or a warming mulled wine by the fire bit in the cooler months.

After enjoying some canapes we’ll move inside the cooking school to our bespoke long table for lunch.

Each lunch will showcase seasonal produce grown or raised by Mornington Peninsula farmers.

I’ve spent many years exploring the region and tasting its incredible bounty and can’t wait to create some special seasonal menus inspired by my discoveries.

The Sunday Seasonal Lunches will celebrate ingredients from my favourite farm gates and producers including Benton Rise Farm, Hillock Downs Produce Store, Woolumbi Farm, The Peninsula Fish Company, Main Ridge Dairy, Red Hill Cheese, Boatshed Cheese, Tutti Frutti Artisan Gelato, Yarrimbah farm, Sunnyridge Strawberry Farm and Harts Farm.

I’d love to you to take a seat at the table!
