I made an amazing trip to Istanbul and Bodrum in September 2018 and WOW what a trip!
The food of Turkey is rich, colourful and multi-layered with culture, regional food is celebrated throughout Istanbul from fine dining to street food and every single bit of it is delicious.
Together we will recreate the flavours of istanbul from the pomegranate juice juiced fresh in front of you to beautiful baklava served in restaurants opened in 1864 serving only baklava and chai.
Take your taste buds to a whole new level! If you love Mediterranean food then this one is for you. Come and experience a traditional six-course Turkish feast. You can watch and learn or have fun in a hands on way. Either way, you will get to taste each dish, finishing with delicious baklava made from hand-rolled pastry.
Traditionally Turkish people love eating and relishing food. It is an integral part of the society the culture, steeped in the history of the Ottoman Empire.
After this class you will be able to replicate these family recipes with ease.
