This 3-day adventure holiday includes a 2 night stay at Tidal River – John Gregory Lodge.
From our base at Tidal River we will set out to explore walking tracks around the local area such as Loo-Errn Track. Loo-Errn track has been designed for people with limited mobility, the Loo-Errn track follows the south bank of Tidal River and provides access to the Tidal River footbridge. A short boardwalk (with platforms allowing access for fishing) protects the fragile wetlands.
It is great to walk anytime, but sunset is particularly good as you are more likely to see more animals such as wombats and deer. The fishing platforms provide the perfect opportunity for those wanting to throw in a line and catch and release a few fish.
Squeaky Beach named because of the noise it makes when you stroll along it is the perfect place to visit to go for a paddle or a swim and cool off on a hot summer’s day. The clear blue water and white sand beach are the perfect spot for a game of beach cricket or soccer or if kicking back and enjoying the beautiful scenery is more your thing find a quiet spot relax and enjoy.
All meals are supplied on this trip and will be prepared and shared together as a group activity, so that everyone can learn skills for independent living and still have a great time working together in a small group.
Evenings will be spent at the accommodation, where we will enjoy a range of activities such as movies, music (singing & dancing optional), board games and of course lots of laughter.
