Christmas Market 15th December 2017

The Christmas market has been rescheduled to the 15th of December. Due to an unfortunately timed once in a decade ‘rain event’ on the previously scheduled date, we rescheduled the event.

However not to worry! This rescheduled date gives both 100 mile foodie and the vendors more time to perfect, finesse and improve the products that will be available at the Christmas Market. Currently for sale, we have decorative candles, jewelry, plants, preserves, hot food, beautiful local photography Christmas themed baked goods and more. Talented local musician, Eve Ward will also be performing Christmas tunes as well as some of her lovely music throughout the night. It is shaping up to the a truly amazing night and hopefully, this is the first of many.

The 100 mile foodie Christmas market is inspired by the Christmas markets of Europe. These European Christmas markets light up the old town squares and turn cold snowy marketplatz into a golden, glowing market place; scented of gingerbread and sizzling bratwurst.  This inspired us to recreate this sense of community and Christmas spirit in our own domain. Hence, the first annual 100 mile foodie Christmas market was born.

So, the vendors are hard at work perfecting their products and 100 mile foodie is hard at work getting the market place looking Christmassy. Now it’s up to you. On the 15th of December at 6.30pm, come to 24 Chesterfield Road, Somerville, (100 mile foodie HQ) with a gold coin donation to (RUOK?) for entry and the Christmas spirit within you. See you on the 15th!
