LOCATION: 100 mile foodie 24 Chesterfield road Somerville 3912

Do you struggle to know where to start when it comes to making your own nutrient dense, probiotic rich, fermented vegetables at home?

Join Robyn from Ferment Frenzy as we venture into the world of fermentation and learn how to make a range of probiotic rich foods to nourish your body. The beneficial bacteria and natural enzymes found in sauerkraut have been shown to be important for good digestive health, help the body absorb more nutrients and is great for overall vitality and vigour.

For beginners through to intermediate, this fun workshop is packed with practical information and tips that will have you fermenting at home with confidence. We talk about slower ferments like sauerkraut, how to make it and suggestions on how to serve it, as well as quicker ferments like Garlic Carrot Sticks and a Beet Kvass. We discuss wild fermentation, what about whey and is a starter culture necessary?

Robyn will share some of her favourite recipes, taste some ferments and together you will set out on a journey of discovery.

For workshop participants, discounted Fermenting kits will be available for purchase on the day.
